RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication" -- a format for distributing and gathering content from sources across the Web, including newspapers, magazines, and blogs (an online diary, a chronological log of thoughts posted on a web page). Web publishers use RSS to easily create and distribute news feeds including links, headlines, and summaries. There are thousands of different feeds available on the web for you to add to this site.

Lets say that you visit a number of sites (such as national news sites, industry sites, tech news sites, or other sites related to your job) several times daily. Rather than spending 4 - 5 minutes scanning each site looking for new information, you can subscribe to RSS feeds for those sites and the new articles will be delivered to you as they become available.

1. To access the RSS Feed Manager, place your mouse over the Administration tab at the top of your screen.
2. RSS_Feed_Menu
3. The RSS Feed Manager screen opens, from this screen Community Administrators can Add, Edit, and Delete feeds as well as choose from a list of preselected feeds to place on the portal.
